This funky bracelet was made with some of my current favorite beads -- Christmas beads brought back from Africa by my friends Harry and Carol Nellis-Ewell, owners of the fabulous Afrikamba Curios shop in Spencerport NY.

This flirty fringe bracelet features blue and silver seed beads, Czech pressed glass and crystals, and a gorgeous vintage Czech button sent to me by my friend Julianna Mucci.

This bracelet was inspired by autumn in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of western New York -- golds, greens, purples, grapes, leaves. Stitched in chevron chain with neat purple-y green and red seed beads, and fringed with Czech glass.

A knitted cuff, this time done with funky, fuzzy yarn and some of Lisa Hamlin's lampworked art glass beads.

This pink fringe bracelet was made for my good friend Marilynne Lipshutz to replace one that she donated to the Breast Cancer Awareness Auction in Rochester NY. Constructed of pink, silver and white seed beads, pink glass, crystals and rose quartz

Pink and white seed beads stitched into a chevron chain and embellished with fringes of seed beads and crystal flowers. Finished with lampwork beads by Lisa Hamlin.

This fringe bracelet is very special to me since it is embellished with medals and charms owned by my mother and grandmother. I call it "Shrine."

A peyote band stitched with ruby red and gold Czech seed beads, featuring a hand-formed poly clay face surrounded by fringe. The clasp shown in this photo was replaced with a beaded button, but I didn't get a photo of it before it went to its new owner.

This fringe bracelet was made using several different shades of blue and gold seed beads and a blue glass toggle. It was sold in a show at the 2005 New York Library Association conference in Buffalo NY.

This necklace was my first big project and is made of aqua and dark blue seed beads, vintage crystal drops, and a beaded button. This baby won Best of Show in the bead work category at the 2005 Monroe County Fair. It is now on display at Studio 34.

This collar is constructed of three pieces of African Helix rope stitched with black, blue and gold seed beads, then strung on a sterling silver choker with denim and black beads by Priscilla Thornton.

This fancy collar was made for my friend Susan from The Art of Beads and is constructed of red and gold seed beads fashioned using the netting and coralling stitches.

Yet another fringe bracelet...this time in purple and gold seed beads and fluorite chips, a gorgeous focal bead by Julianna Mucci and a beaded button clasp. This one is owned by Deb Coller of Fairport NY.

This is a bad picture of one of my favorite necklaces. Red and gold seed beads are stitched in a chevron chain and then embellished with more seed beads and gold glass drops in a coral stitch. I wear this one all the time!

I call this my Easter Egg necklace. Two shades of green seed beads are stitched in a chevron chain then embellished with more seed beads and color lined E beads, giving it the look of colorful Easter eggs hidden in grass.

This bead knitted cuff was commissioned by Wendy DiMatteo of Rochester NY and is constructed of silver seed beads knitted on to black cord, then finished with a vintage rhinestone pin.

This necklace came about after I made the bottom fringe part and discovered it was way too big to wear as a bracelet. So I stitched a spiral rope and made it into a necklace! Ivory and turquoise seed beads with lampworked beads by Lisa Hamlin.

This fun necklace combines two of my favorite things -- beads and fiber. Hundreds of multicolored seed beads are stitched into a longer-than-... fringe, while the neck strap is made of multicolored fiber knotted using a basic macrame technique.

This image shows the back of the confetti fringe necklace. The fiber cord is coiled into a loop and the ends secured with several lampworked beads. The closure is a button form covered with the same fiber used in the neck strap.

Gun metal gray and transparent turquoise seed beads stitched in a peyote band, embellished with gold picot edging and black fresh water pearls. Finished with a Czech glass button clasp.

Atlantis was created using vintage ice blue and green seed beads and a lovely lampworked focal bead by Little Crow Glass Studio. It was sold in a silent auction in Spencerport NY in 2003.

This bracelet was constructed of turquoise and gold seed beads and three of my daughters' marbles. The netted tube encased the marbles, but the whole thing was waaaay too big when finished, so it was deconstructed.

Remember that netted tube bracelet that was too big? Well, here's part of it...recycled into a pendant and hung on a rope of gold and aqua seed beads stitched in the African Helix design. The rope is finsihed with lapis lazuli and gold filigree beads.

This is an early piece that has since been deconstructed. It featured a gorgeous lampworked fairy bead by Mavis Smith and strands of gold, red and green seed beads. It wasn't very well made and fell apart after a couple wearings.

Yet another fringe bracelet...this time in green seed beads, Czech glass and crystals, with a pewter button clasp. This was sold at the 2005 NYLA conference in Buffalo NY.

Here's another attempt at bead knitting...this one in multicolored seed beads knit onto black cord. The other side features a vintage Czech button.
