This funky bracelet was made with some of my current favorite beads -- Christmas beads brought back from Africa by my friends Harry and Carol Nellis-Ewell, owners of the fabulous Afrikamba Curios shop in Spencerport NY.

This bracelet was inspired by autumn in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of western New York -- golds, greens, purples, grapes, leaves. Stitched in chevron chain with neat purple-y green and red seed beads, and fringed with Czech glass.

Red Goddess
A peyote band stitched with ruby red and gold Czech seed beads, featuring a hand-formed poly clay face surrounded by fringe. The clasp shown in this photo was replaced with a beaded button, but I didn't get a photo of it before it went to its new owner.

This necklace was my first big project and is made of aqua and dark blue seed beads, vintage crystal drops, and a beaded button. This baby won Best of Show in the bead work category at the 2005 Monroe County Fair. It is now on display at Studio 34.

I call this my Easter Egg necklace. Two shades of green seed beads are stitched in a chevron chain then embellished with more seed beads and color lined E beads, giving it the look of colorful Easter eggs hidden in grass.

Confetti Fringe
This fun necklace combines two of my favorite things -- beads and fiber. Hundreds of multicolored seed beads are stitched into a longer-than-... fringe, while the neck strap is made of multicolored fiber knotted using a basic macrame technique.

Back of Confetti Fringe
This image shows the back of the confetti fringe necklace. The fiber cord is coiled into a loop and the ends secured with several lampworked beads. The closure is a button form covered with the same fiber used in the neck strap.

Marble Experiment
This bracelet was constructed of turquoise and gold seed beads and three of my daughters' marbles. The netted tube encased the marbles, but the whole thing was waaaay too big when finished, so it was deconstructed.

Marble Experiment Redone
Remember that netted tube bracelet that was too big? Well, here's part of it...recycled into a pendant and hung on a rope of gold and aqua seed beads stitched in the African Helix design. The rope is finsihed with lapis lazuli and gold filigree beads.
