Hello, my name is Barb Stigen and I live in the great state of Alaska. I began lampworking in the winter of 2007. I had dabbled in many art forms however my thirst was never quenched until I found glass. With the support of my loving husband and 4 children lampworking has become my true creative outlet. I have attend every class that Glassfirenze studio in Eagle River Alaska(glassfirenze.com) has offered, and taken away something special from each one, including last months class by Tink Martin. She graciously looked over my work, and gave me the encouragement and confidence to begin selling. Thank you Tink. I hope you enjoy my artwork as much as I enjoy creating it.
