Earrings & Fan Pulls

Earrings & Fan Pulls

(FourTailsLampwork)
Recently I have gotten into making fan pulls--small cabinet-knobs that attach to a finial conversion chain. They're very sturdy--you can tug on those and the bead won't come loose--it is screwed in tightly. Then of course there are frit test beads. Make two of them, and turn them into earrings!

"Sonoran Desert Sunset"

(SuzanneOfSJSjewel...)
When I first obtained the wonderful focal bead by artist "Into the Fire" Lampwork, it inspired one thing, the wonderful Sonoran Desert Sunsets here in Arizona. The colors are magical, as are the sunsets. This collection also includes other handmade lampwork beads by the same artist.
I included various types of Jasper, Amber, coated Swarovski Crystsl, freshwater pearls, Moonstone and some wonderful Vintage gold painted wood chips.
All handwire wrapped using Gold Filled heavy gauge wire, 6mm Gold filled flat drawn cable chain & beads.
Shorter necklace and 3 strand bracelet are strung on heavy gauge designer beading wire. I also included glass seed beads and Czech Glass Beads.

Some of the earrings are made with beautiful lampwork, some are created using semi-precious stones. I just love making earrings! I also love wearing them!

Ribbons Of HeartSong Collection

Ribbons Of HeartSong Collection

(ConnieB)
I do so love to make jewelry. It is both a passion and a pleasure. I truly make it to please myself and in the end, if someone purchases it, I am thrilled beyond words. It amazes me to see how my work has grown with each different type of lampwork that I have incorporated into my designs. I love 'meeting' new lampwork artists and am in awe of their creations.

Brazilian Dance

Brazilian Dance

(SuzanneOfSJSjewel...)
Once again I designed this necklace around the wonderful lampwork bead focal by Lisa New Designs. Once finished the colors and components reminded me of the colors in a Beautiful Brazilian Dancer's costume.

Another design inspired by the wonderful focal bead created of polymer clay. Hand made & hand painted bead by artist: Karen Lorraine.
I used 14K Gold filled beads, chain, wire & beautiful toggle clasp. Chain is a flat cable chain in 2 sizes. I threw in a few seemless swirled strling silver oxidized beads too!
All handwire wrapped.
Accompa... by Swarovski crystals in many colors & special effects

Sedona

Sedona

(SuzanneOfSJSjewel...)
Sedona was created around the focal lampwork bead by Lisa New Designs. It reminded me of the wonderful colors in this magical place in Northern Arizona, with Blue skies and red-orange rock.

Jungle Boogie

Jungle Boogie

(OriginalSinDesigns)
Everything and the opposite of everything, this bracelet was conceived as an exercise in using as many contrasts possible in a single piece of jewelry. The lacelike structure of the bracelet band accentuates the roughness of the stone, the fire of the orange brings out the rich chromatic depth of the green, the elegance of structure contrasts sharply with the almost primordial nature of the focal piece.

Materials employed in the making of this innovative bracelet are Australian Boulder Opal, Swarovski crystals, and vintage (early '70's) Venetian glass seed beads...absolutely exquisite. It closes with two copper toggle clasps.

The Boulder Opal measures 3cm (1.18") in length and 0.7cm (0.26") in width (at its widest point). I purchased the stone rough, and had it custom polished and drilled specifically for this design by Master Goldsmith and Gemcutter Maurizio Borghi.

I would be willing to trade this piece for the right set of lampwork beads :)
