Drama Queen
(
OriginalSinDesigns
)
Luscious, extreme, sophisticated, and unbearably beautiful - this necklace is a celebration of the new femininity, delicate and powerful at the same time. Shades of pink, grey, wine, mauve and ivory highlight three incredibly unique lace agates in a freeform interpretation of bead embroidery around the cabochons. The effect is nothing less than spectacular!
The materials used in the creation of Drama Queen are Lace Agates, Swarovski Crystals, Swarovski Pearls, Natural Freshwater Pearls (dyed), Rose Quartz, German seed beads, German bugle beads, German seed cubes
Tango
(
OriginalSinDesigns
)
Color, light and texture chase each other across this choker in an intricate, vibrant and refined choreography reminiscent of that most exquisitely sensual and sublimely tempting of all dances, the Tango. A whisper, a caress, a promise fulfilled and unfulfilled.
This choker wraps almost completely around the neck, tying at the back with a taupe velvet ribbon.The body of the choker is 27cm (10.63") long, ribbon excluded, and 2cm (0.79") wide.
The choker was made using Red Onyx, Blue Onyx, German and Czech glass seed beads, 24K goldplated Japanese seed beads, bugle beads, and embellished with Swarovski crystals.
On the Rocks
(
OriginalSinDesigns
)
Monochrome has never been so incredibly spectacular. On the Rocks has it all - class, style, funk and shine. Dare to wear it with a tan, heads will turn! This bracelet has a distinct and marked glow to it, thanks to a perfect mix of matte opalescent white seed beads and transparent unlined aurora borealis finish seed beads in the band of the bracelet. The focal stone is completely transparent, and the bezel has been constructed in such a way as to leave the back of the cabochon uncovered, maximizing light to the stone. Tiny dark brown seed beads are integrated in the top of the bezel, otherwise made entirely of silver lined transparent beads, to emphasize the points where bezel meets rutiles
The focal stone is an exceptional Rutilated Quartz, completely transparent and with some very interesting inclusions. The piece was photographed on a neutral background, and due to the transparency of all the stones used in its making, this shows up slightly in the photographs. The stones are all either completely transparent or predominantly transparent in the case of the focal stone.
The materials used in the creation of On the Rocks are Rutilated Quartz, Rock Crystal, Tourmalated Quartz, Czech, Japanese, and German seed beads, German bugle beads, sterling silver, antique Czech foiled crystal beads
Sweetgum III
(
TheJadeDog
)
I made this pendant using PMC paste and a dried sweetgum fruit. I applied over 30 layers of slip, let that dry, fired the piece in a kiln for two hours, allowed the sweetgum to air cool, and polished it with a wire brush. I then used liver of sulphur to get an antiqued look...beautiful deep coppers, bronze and silvers. I also used sterling wire to wrap the stem and make a bail. That was also treated to antique it. I hang mine on a ball chain, but would also look stunning on a simple cord or chain.
Dreams of Kona

These colors are so fantastic, they look good on everyone! 19 Lampwork beadies are featured in this Charm Bracelet. 7 awesome Lampwork Beads by Jena Fulcher (Jenagirlbeads), tons of brown shell coins, vintage glass nuggets, all topped off with one of my Signature 'Freestyle' Clasps!
May 2007
(
RickieVogesDesign
)
This gallery will house the designs from May '07 that are no longer available. I will pull them from the current gallery to keep them here and my cureent gallery will be just that --everything currently available from me. This will include items that have been sold, custom orders and gifted to friends and loved ones. I love the idea of galleries that house a record of my history, and hopefully an evolution of my work!
Amazon Cuff Disintered
(
TheJadeDog
)
This work has sold! This freeform peyote cuff, measuring 7", features a priday moss agate cabochon, opal chips, new Czech glass, copper disks, vintage Japanese glass pearls and new seed beads, an old and a new button, brass cubes and disks. Too many hours to count in labor. Angled edge and button closure. Peyote and brick stitch, fringe work.
(Model in picture has a tight wrist measurement of 6". Could fit up to a 6 3/4" very comfortably. No resizing.)
Citrus Salad
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
This piece is composed of sterling silver wire, sterling silver beads, colored cultured freshwater pearls, red agate, green and green speckled glass beads, green foil-lined Delica beads, clear quartz crystal beads, Aventurine beads, Rhodonite beads, Garnet beads, and floral Bali spacer beads. All the links were handcrafted, as was the clasp and the 16 gauge jump rings. It does have matching earrings but I seem to have forgotten to take a picture of them, I'll add it when I take pics of my next batch of items!
I used these colors to evoke thoughts of citrus fruits and other tropical fruits including oranges, kumquats, pineapple, kiwi, persimmons, pomegranate (hey, the trees grow EVERYWHERE in Florida!), mangoes, papayas, Key limes, lemons, grapefruit, passion fruit and all the other wonderful fresh fruits we had when we visited our friends' grove when I was a child. Wonderful memories!
This piece measures 17" in length and is available in my Ruby Lane shop.
Baby Blues

I made this set for me. The focal bead on the necklace was a bead that I receieved in a bead exchange. the rest are mine. Hope you enjoy some finished works.
Precious metal lampwork bead necklaces
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
Hate to use this page as a forum, but since SOMEONE took advantage of the fact that I removed ALL the jewelry I made with her DEFECTIVE beads to post beads she made called "Dragon Eggs" - which just happens to be the name of my jewelry series, which just happens to focus around the baby dragons my 16 year old daughter makes out of PMC/art clay silver, I guess I have to say something.
I don't like unoriginal people. I like antagonistic people even less. The necklace used as the snappie for this gallery no longer exists - I had to dismantle it because the SILVER was popping out of the BEADS. Like it did out of every other silvered bead I GOT from said seller. Caveat Emptor.
Precious metal lampwork glass bracelets
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
These are some of my 14K, 18K, sterling and fine silver bangle bracelets made with lampwork glass, sterling and .999 fine Thai Karen Hill Tribe free trade silver and gold, natural gemstone, occasionally, Swarkies or Miracle beads and hopefully a little whimsy - hope you like them!
Cherry blossoms
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
This bangle is made with 14 gauge sterling wire from H. Schmidt & Son, a stunning Sakura focal bead by Susan H. Farley and swirl beads by 3 Muses Glass, which have been accented with sterling Bali beads, diamond cut sandblasted sterling beads and complementary colored Miracle Beads from Side Street Beads in Watkinsville, GA (thanks Susan & Co.!). I made this piece to go with a suite I am making for myself.
Seaside Sunset
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
This piece is crafted with beads from 3 Muses Glass from sterling silver wire, sterling beads, SwarovskiŽ crystal beads and Miracle beads. The colors in the beads just blew me away, reminding me again of my first trip to the Sandestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL. The first night there was just amazing in so many ways, right down to a complete lunar eclipse! The sunset on the water blazed the most incredible colors and these beads just swept my mind back to that night. Best vacation ever. Come to think of it, it's the ONLY real vacation I've ever taken!
Jewelry suites
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
My jewelry suites are ever-evolving. The only thing that doesn't change is the fact that they include a necklace, bracelet and earrings. Some include a pendant as well, for an alternate look, there's always a theme behind them, even if it's only in my own mind!
As always, props to H. Schmidt & Son for the precious metal wire - love y'all a Schwegman's bag full! Props also to all the incredibly talented glass artists whose beads are in my designs - I could NOT have done it without you! You ARE properly credited on each individual page :D
I just turn the beads into what they tell me they want to be, as someone once said, it's 99% inspiration, 1% perspiration. (Clearly this was before the invention of BAND-AIDS, however!)
Destin Twist
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
This focal bead from 3 Muses Glass really brought back memories of a trip to Destin, FL once upon a time, having dinner at the Sunset Bay Cafe at the Sandestin resort, watching the sun set, just kickin' it and feeling more relaxed and pampered than I've ever felt in my life. Call this one a mental vacation!
