Gemstone Medallions gallery 1
(
JasonBurruss
)
Gemstone medallions made by Jason Burruss of www.jandkdesigns.... Medallions are larger and heavier than pendants. I use sterling silver and a variety of raw, faceted, and sliced gemstones. Custom orders are accepted. My higher-end pendants and medallions are sold individually through my website and my product lines of faceted gemstone jewelry are wholesaled in cases through my website also.
2006 - Jewelry
(
NaosGlass
)
Since becoming a beadmaker, I don't make jewelry as often as I used to. Every once in a while, I feel the need to dress up a bead for family or friends, sometimes for sale. Here is a gallery of my jewelry work, mainly pendants.
Chai
(
GeltDesigns
)
Need the perfect gift for a Bat Mitzvah? 18th wedding anniversary? or for no reason at all? You can not go wrong with this hand crafted, fused "Chai" focal bead! Imagine the possibilities! Beautiful! Unique! Enjoy!
Glass Pendants
(
SacredArtBeads
)
Making jewelry is definitely not new for me but making jewelry from my own lampwork beads is. I prefer something simple on sterling silver to let the beads stand on their own. I'm a big fan of hand dyed silk cords. They are simple yet artfully display the pendants.
"Starry Night"
(
SuzanneOfSJSjewel...
)
The focal bead in this design is part of a set of beads I obtained by the wonderful lampwork artist: Allison Turner. The bead set was the artist's rendetion of the Van Gough "Starry Night" Painting....

a new gallery just to show off some of the pendants i have made with my beads. almost as much fun as flameworking - just playing with my beads, some sterling silver, pearls and gemstones. please visit my bead blog at: http://lucindasto...
Green Turquoise I
(
M.Poineal
)
This is a sterling silver handmade changeable bead pendant which includes chinese green turquoise and a lovely green mineral of which the name I am unable to remember. The lampwork focal is made with ASK glass, I just love this glass it is wonderful to work.
Ammonites!
(
M.Poineal
)
Ammonite and Amber set in hand milled sterling silver with a handmade silver foil floral bead focal created with Italian Glass. I need to add another picture or two. I finished this piece off with a great chain and handmade toggle bar so it can be wornat different lengths.
Sweetgum III
(
TheJadeDog
)
I made this pendant using PMC paste and a dried sweetgum fruit. I applied over 30 layers of slip, let that dry, fired the piece in a kiln for two hours, allowed the sweetgum to air cool, and polished it with a wire brush. I then used liver of sulphur to get an antiqued look...beautiful deep coppers, bronze and silvers. I also used sterling wire to wrap the stem and make a bail. That was also treated to antique it. I hang mine on a ball chain, but would also look stunning on a simple cord or chain.
Lampwork pendants
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
These are some of the pendants I've put together using focal beads from orphan bead lots and some of the marvelous lampwork spacer beads I got from Bits O' Glass (really hoping for MORE soon, too!) - I just kind of let the character of the focal bead guide me and tell me what it wants to be, these are the ones that told me they wanted to be pendants ;)
Dragon Egg Pendants
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
These pendants are made with beads that, for whatever reason, make me think about dragons and dragon eggs and all the fanciful, fantastical, whimsical tales and stories and myths that I've loved all my life. A dragon egg can't just be your everyday garden variety egg egg, can it? It should have a really nifty sheen to it, or emanate some kind of inner glow or be shimmery and ethereal.
My dragon-love started out with "Puff, The Magic Dragon" by Peter, Paul and Mary and has only escalated throughout my life and I take it very seriously. When I put a bead in one of my Dragon Eggs pieces it's because it has touched that place in my heart and mind that loves dragons, treasures them and cries at the end of "Dragonheart" every time even though I KNOW the ending.
Queen of Broken Hearts - Pink Ribbon series
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
I got this bead today from GlassValley and it totally sums up everything I'm feeling right now. I got word Monday night that my cousin, who is 14 months older than me, who has been battling metastatic breast cancer for the last five years, has had a recurrence and the cancer has spread to her bones and it is now just a matter of time.
I found this bead so ironic, the heart is solid, but it's broken at the same time. Just like mine.
My Beautiful BALLOONS!
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
Once again Lydia Muell of Ashton Jewels has inspired me to make hot air balloons. Except this time, she actually made the beads with my balloons in mind! A couple of the beads actually ARE balloons (the goldstone and white beads), the others have just been combined to create those wonderful, whimsical airships with their beautiful buoyancy! I hope you like them, I'll be listing them for sale if I don't sell out at our town's centennial fair!
Eureka! 14K Hot Air Balloon Pendant
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
I love this one! Lydia Muell does it again - this time with a fabulously shaped bead that is perfect for the balloon in this hot air balloon pendant! I've taken a different tack with the gondola bead and gone round, since the bottom of the top bead is flat, so the beautiful turquoise blue reflects down onto the creamy, minty green and gold of the round bead. The goldstone stringer is raised on the balloon bead and is flush on the gondola bead, providing some wonderful contrasts in this pendant. The beads are mounted on solid 14K wire with solid 14K beads.
Fairy Carousel
(
BentWarpedAndTwisted
)
These gorgeous beads by Lydia Muell, Ashton Jewels, with their delicate aquamarine color and beautiful double-plunged roses, accented by goldstone stringer, brought to mind fairies and fancy and how there is a certain strength even in the tenuous nature of the fantasy realm. The beads are mounted on solid 14K pink gold wire with 14K yellow gold beads and 4mm Swarovski light rose AB bicone beads.
