Tucson Trinkets

Tucson Trinkets

(Angelinabeadalina)
Sneek-a-peek! What a fun collaboration for me! The McDuck has been sending me unusual changeable pendants that she thinks would "go" with my beads, and I've been busy trying to make the beadalinas to go with them. Hmm, methinks this collaboration could last past Tucson. . . hint, hint, Mary! The first one we did was the Buddha head. Mary sent me pictures and measurements, and I made the Buddha body sitting on the lotus and the OM symbol. When the package with the findings arrived, I rushed home to try them. . . and the Buddha bead fit just right! I'm loving this, especially since I have a few changeable pendants of my own and I know from experience just how much fun they are! You can check out Mary's other findings at www.mcduckcreatio...
Dancing Starfish

Dancing Starfish

(FireandIce)
This is one of my favorite signature beads - the Dancing Starfish!

I love my little starfishes....and I hope that you enjoy them too! They cane be quiet satrfishes, or sassy starfishes, but the one quality they have in common? They all love to get down and boogy on the dance floor!

Lumpies!

Lumpies!

(FireandIce)
I call these beads 'Lumpies' with great affection. These beads have a wonderful tactile-ness from the soft, bright 'lumps' on the face of the bead. When worn as a pendant, you won'tbe able to keep your hands off them!
More Orchids

More Orchids

(Eugena)
Here are a few new sculpted pendants I made last week. Most of them are still available and will soon be listed on my site.

I enjoy sculpting orchids more than any other flowers. They have such a diversity in shapes and colors...

The pendants range from about 1" to 3" in size, and the orchids are about 1/2" to 3/4" in size. They are sculpted from the highest quality polymer clay and combined with pieces of shells.

Just a Little Something to Put on a Silver Chain

Just a Little Something to Put on a Silver Chain

(RickieVogesDesign)
I don't often make pendants, but with a stash of leftover beads in oneseys and twosies from sets I've used for necklaces and bracelets, it seemed likt time to put them to good use, instead of hiding away in the bottom of my bead box. What alot of fun I've had playing with my beautiful left-overs!

Faux Cloisonne Orchid

Faux Cloisonne Orchid

(Eugena)
I have done many sculpted orchids, but this is only the second one in my faux cloisonne technique. I like the way it turned out, so there will definitely be more!

Shimmery pale pink capiz shell was used for the backdrop of this pastel tropical pendant with a floral-encased bead by Jena Fulcher, Czech glass flowers, leaves and beads.
Bezel-set Fused Glass Pendant

Bezel-set Fused Glass Pendant

(DesignsByLisaV)
My friend Amber (ThatBeadGirl.com) just started making fused glass, and this was her first piece. She sent it to me, to make it into a custom pendant. I created a fine silver bezel around the glass, soldered all of the pieces together, and handcrafted a sterling silver bail. Working with a larger piece was a little tricky, but it was fun working with a new material!

I added a fancy hair ornament/crown to this one. I made a red tassle cane using the stamen cane technique to create the illusion of red tassles hanging from the ends. (sold)
Handcrafted Bezel Set Cabochons

Handcrafted Bezel Set Cabochons

(DesignsByLisaV)
These pieces were custom designed using cabochons from my customer. I created a sterling bezel for each stone, and then made a pendant and earrings. All of the sterling pieces were handforged, with the exception of the two small balls on the earwires.
