With Independence Day here in the states approaching, and the celebration of Memorial Day this weekend, it's only natural that my thoughts wander to the patriotic. To design my vision, I've taken a lovely set of lampwork from Melanie Moertel. It's not the traditional bright red, white and blue, but a subtler set in deep burgundy, rich navy blue and ivory on a transparent amber base with swirls of dark amber and some whimsical flowers that added a bit of coral. Each bead is a piece of art in itself. Each time you wear it, you will go back to study the beads and find a new detail to enjoy.

Jazz Series "Ella"

First in the Jazz Series, I gathered these beads as I listened to Ella Fitzgerald croon
and was inspired to design three bracelets that reflect the soul sounds of Ella,
Diana Krall and Lena Horne.

Hand worked glass by Luann Jamison is featured in these fat rounds and disks that
are chock full of deep purples, blues, fuschia and black. They are complement with
Swarovski crystals in shades of Tanzanite, Amethyst, Light Amethyst and Light
Sapphire. An intricately detailed silver Bali clasp and components complete this
hand made work of art. Comes with or without the dangle of crystals and silver.

It's wonderfully surprising how the blue in this glass matches denim! Believe it or
not, this piece goes casual with denim or dressy with black or purple attire.

The bead artist keeps a special supply of glass for me so this piece can be readily
duplicated. Everyone can have a RockerJewlz signature bracelet!

This lovely set of bifurcated beads screamed, "Make me pretty,jazzy,and frilly!" so I decided on a cha-cha bracelet with lots of glitz. The matching earrings are dangles with the main big beads and black rose crystals that show case the netting in the big beads.

This Fabulous Bangle (Brangle) Bracelet is made with a large Handmade Lamwork bead as the Focal along with handmade accent lampwork beads, Hand coiled Sterling Silver with a Heavy Gauge Sterling Core, Greek Ceramic beads heavily dipped in Fine Silver and Bali silver accents. The Lampwork Focal is made by the EXTREMELY Richard Ronsick. The closure is a hinged handmade hook and is very easy to get on and off. This bracelet will fit a 6.5 inch wrist with room to spare and wears VERY comfortably.
