Passionate Heart Pair

Passionate Heart Pair

(HardwoodTrailGlass)
I love, love, love the colors in these. I hadn't made hearts in awhile and the specialty mandrels from Inspiration Toolworks are sooo easy to use, thanks Jeff!!! :)
Handcrafted Sterling & Boro Ring

Handcrafted Sterling & Boro Ring

(DesignsByLisaV)
This is a new ring design for me, where I soldered the band, and riveted on the top components. The bead sits upon a domed disc, which was hammered for texture. The bead and disc can spin around for a little added fun!

Tribal

Tribal

(HardwoodTrailGlass)
I have had so many requests to add some blues and/or blacks to my pink beads that this is what I came up w/ first...there's more to come BTW. And I'm having fun seeing all the colors come alive, and well, some of them not. ;)
Gold Geode

Gold Geode

(Route66GlassWorks)
These are a couple of my favorite style of bead to make. They are inside out beads covered in frit and plated, then cut open to expose the inner design.
Northstar Boro color reference

Northstar Boro color reference

(Suzanne)
These beads where made using a twistie ( clear core, encased in color, striped with clear and pulled into a cane), the beads have one wrap of colored cane and three wraps of clear. They where not flamestruck but kilnstruck for 30 minutes at 1050
These are all northstar, and more pics will be added in the future. Please check out my GA color reference as well, you might find it to be helpful:)

BORCILLICATE BRACELET/EARRINGS SET

BORCILLICATE BRACELET/EARRINGS SET

Blackhearted Wench

Blackhearted Wench

(BentWarpedAndTwisted)
I decided to do something a little different with this piece and concentrate on the lampwork beads rather than the accent beads. All the lampwork beads are by 3 Muses Glass, all the sterling silver beads except the starlights are from Side Street Beads in Watkinsville, GA. I have accented the gunmetal hearts and wildly colored swirled beads with natural garnet, rhodonite, hematite and Swarovski® crystal bicones in Crystal, Rose. I have also used handmade sterling beads in triangular and oblong shapes as well as 2mm round polished beads.

My daughter was talking to me about the latest "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie just as the end theme of "Live and Let Die" came on the TV so I had Bond girls and pirate wenches on the brain when I made this one! This piece measures just over 17" long.

Finally something new to show you! Another one of my popular slider bracelets with large holed, bold boro lampwork by Heidi Brodersen combined with sterling sliders on a thick flexible chain, with toggle clasp. Yum! This style is a joy to wear and always generates interesting conversation.
Pretty in Pink 5

Pretty in Pink 5

This is a pattern I have really enjoyed making recently. I really like the contrast of the pink and white. It also has a nice effect with the depth of the honeycomb.
Ría Urúva

Ría Urúva

(BentWarpedAndTwisted)
The name of this piece - Ría Urúva - is Elvish for "Garland like Fire". It just seemed to fit wonderfully!

This piece is from my personal Dragon Eggs collection - the beads are by 3 Muses Glass and the necklace links are crafted of 14K yellow, pink and nickel-free palladium-alloyed white gold. I have used 6mm 14K yellow gold beads, 3mm 14K yellow gold beads, 2mm 14K yellow gold beads, 22K vermeil .999 fine silver faceted beads, sterling silver Bali style barrel beads, bead caps, spacers and 8mm round polished beads as accents in combination with 4mm round natural garnets, red agate, yellow jade and rhodonite to complement the colors in the encased Boro beads.

The pendant drop has a loop at the bottom from which I can suspend one of Caitlin's Dragons (the baby dragon pendants my 16 year old daughter makes by HAND from PMC silver!) or a single dragon egg pendant.

I originally did this piece in fine silver but since I found myself wearing it ALL the time I decided to redo it in gold.

I just think these are soo cool, eek. They're done in a kinda 'Burnt Edges' style and all the variations just add to the depth in each one of them. :)

I am a total beginner with boro. I just took my first boro class in Aug. 07, and these pics are of my early attempts. Hopefully in the future I'll have a boro gallery to really show off!

I am just having tons of fun getting lots of great glass reactions! I love finding a surprise in the kiln and lately Boro has been giving me lots of fun surprises.
Something different with OPALS!

Something different with OPALS!

(Mr.Smiley)
I'll try to get better pics of the blue band and the fire in these opals... there's so much shimmer in the cobalt band... I love layering the new sparkles under transparents. The light play is awesome, but hard to capture in pics.

Ok, so this is kind of a spin off of my masquerade work. I love applying techniques I've figured out to different ideas. I often feed off of one piece into something totally different. I guess living with ADD isn't all bad. At least it's not boring! LOL
