Copper Orbit - Signature Set
This is my very first signature set for DTL Designs by Diane E Poland. DTL is an acronym that means "Dancing Through Life". My father always loved to dance and when I was a very little girl, he would tell me to stand on his feet, he would hold my hands and I would dance with him. I always enjoyed those special dances. It was our special time together and I loved and cherished that time as I look back now. He died when I was nine years old so those dances represent the best of life for me. That's why I chose the name for my art work creations. I enjoy creating so much, it is my "dance through life". I cherish making these special pieces, and hope you will enjoy them also. blessings, Diane Poland

Making Faces INTO PINS!
I had planned to make art dolls....yet I am not so big on sewing projects...so I decided on a smaller scale and have started making these faces into pins. They are currently available at www.ALDDesigns.etsy.com .

Nefertiti Traverses the Sands of Little Egypt
Nefertiti has come to Little Egypt. The Queen chooses to see what this "little" Egypt in southern Illinois might offer. She has heard of many things that might please her, many ways of this land that pay homage to her land. This will be our travel journal for the next week or so, however long it might please the regal beauty to explore with me. The heat is almost unbearable here in southern Illinois this week, and since gas costs a bit more than camel feed we may not journey all the way south to Cairo...but we will entertain you!
