The Guardian Focal Bead
OK, so this is what I see: a lion sitting on the right side of this bead. I thought it was pretty cool!

This is a really great set of art glass beads, bright and funky! This set comprises of 13 beads. of which 4 are spacers in clear glass and etched. The beads are etched. The focal bead is 35mmx30mm at its widest.

A veritable cornucopia of organic goodness and color! :) This gently sculpted focal is a larger size at 34mm. It has graceful lines. Fine silver over the surface creates just the right amount of sparkle. Some of the colors present include Lavender, Peach, Aqua and Cocoa. Subtle reactions all over the glass make this a bead you want to explore with your eyes and hands.

Amphiptere Dragon Magick
Born of the flame, given no name, this enchanted melding of dragon and goddess flew from my imagination...she was so easy to imagine, I knew there must already be a name and description for her. I found it this morning while googling dragons. Of the many definitions and references to amphiptere, dragon-like winged serpents, the one I found fascinating was the description at The Serene Dragon. There, amphiptere are described as guardians flying the astral plane. Ah, that is who she is-- a winged guardian traveling the astral planes.

This is another first attempt from me - completely free form like the Ivory Moss Splat Beads (what a name!), but I've never played with Silver Plum before, and I SUCK at shards!!!

Murrini beads! Many beads of People Murrini and more...
Many pieces from Spring 2008 with murrini. It is not about being pretty. It is about having meaning. I seperate the "pretty" from the bead sometimes, and that is odd to some people; fascinating to others. (the subjective thing...) I personally have always had an attraction to the RAW free flow of materials, combined with universal references... stories and real life events inspire me; symbolism and figures...

This is the first time that I've tried a completely free-form set - I have Naos to thank for this (hopefully she doesn't cringe)!!!
