Zemyna, Earth Goddess and Blossom Giver
Zemyna, green and vining, cupping her leaf to catch a bit of rain and hold a blossom. She is the earth goddess, celebrating fertility and trees and growth. She received a blessing every morning and evening, a little token of what she'd given to farmers and families. This Zemyna stands on her own , holds a bit of water in the cup of the leaf/hair that vines from her crown to her breast. What a wonderful way to remind us of the goodness of Mother Earth.

Pretty in Pink 5
This is a pattern I have really enjoyed making recently. I really like the contrast of the pink and white. It also has a nice effect with the depth of the honeycomb.

Landscape inspired beads
I love my garden. Everywhere I look there is a rose or a Lilly. Such an inspiration for my glass. I have recently fallen in love with murrini, flower cane, and those mixed together on a bead (all over again). I can paint flowers, as if it was paint. Things are really melting together nice. Ideas are evolving and I am a little bit more normal than I thought. Maybe the concept, the inner emotion could be received thru visual beauty. Maybe the "story" isn't so important....ah! who am I kidding? Art about art continues....so many artists have painted flowers. Nobody can call it "theirs!" Everybody is dead so, I guess nothing has to be dead. Freedom to celebrate art. This is a chance of a life time. A Modern philosophy of thought....hm!

Wish on a Star
Finally something new to show you! Another one of my popular slider bracelets with large holed, bold boro lampwork by Heidi Brodersen combined with sterling sliders on a thick flexible chain, with toggle clasp. Yum! This style is a joy to wear and always generates interesting conversation.

Jewelry suites
My jewelry suites are ever-evolving. The only thing that doesn't change is the fact that they include a necklace, bracelet and earrings. Some include a pendant as well, for an alternate look, there's always a theme behind them, even if it's only in my own mind! As always, props to H. Schmidt & Son for the precious metal wire - love y'all a Schwegman's bag full! Props also to all the incredibly talented glass artists whose beads are in my designs - I could NOT have done it without you! You ARE properly credited on each individual page :D I just turn the beads into what they tell me they want to be, as someone once said, it's 99% inspiration, 1% perspiration. (Clearly this was before the invention of BAND-AIDS, however!)
