Black Sand Cove

I was inspired by these wonderful raku lampwork beads by Dawn Scannell. They seem to be perfectly complimented by the hand forged oxidized sterling components I pulled from my stash. I love it when a design comes together!

The big beads have soft and feminin shapes and I have combined them with spacers of handpulled yellow, which strike from creamy to red tones.

INDIGO.CHILD

My little light imp (a new murrini creation which reminded me a bit on "The Scream" by Edvard Munch) seems to be irritated in the middle of a magic scenery. It saw a few feathers drifting by on the horizon. There it was ... a blue phoenix with dragon power (or are snakes able to spit fire in this fairy tale ...?!) ... looking for freedom.
