Celestial
I felt like playing with some of the new Bullseye blue algae, some sterling mesh, a little dichro stringer, and of course - frit. I had a vague idea of what I wanted, but didn't have any idea of how it wanted to be put together. Well - it put itself together...

Pretty Pretty Flowers
ONce I learned the art of pulling my own stringer, I just couldn't stop making flowers. I put them on anything and everything from focals to skulls.

Venus, the Twilight Fairy: Beginning of a Wish
Purplish twilight skies, evening spreading across the flatlands...the perfect time to call on Venus to grant a wish. Ah, the Evening Star Wish! What did you wish for when you were little? What will you wish for tonight if you see the Evening Star?

Experiments
I added this Sub Gallery to show my experiments with glass. Sometimes I get results that just blow my mind, so I feel I need to show them here. At times I have no idea what I did to get these results and that can be quite frustrating. This gallery will show just that, experiments. They may never been seen again, but if I can get consistant results, they might end up in a set. Thanks for looking! I can be found on ebay under the id diana1375 and on Justbeads under the id DianaDesigns. Diana

A Simple Plan
Nothing fancy here on this set of handmade glass beads...just bright, fun, primary colors on simple geometric shapes. Even a handmade toggle clasp. Created May 2007

Pink Martini
A set of medium sized buttons in the ever popular color combination of pink and green. Frits and enamels were added for the backgrounds upon which I have added flowers, dots and swirls. So feminine and sweet! Created May, 2007.

Jazz Series "Ella"
First in the Jazz Series, I gathered these beads as I listened to Ella Fitzgerald croon and was inspired to design three bracelets that reflect the soul sounds of Ella, Diana Krall and Lena Horne. Hand worked glass by Luann Jamison is featured in these fat rounds and disks that are chock full of deep purples, blues, fuschia and black. They are complement with Swarovski crystals in shades of Tanzanite, Amethyst, Light Amethyst and Light Sapphire. An intricately detailed silver Bali clasp and components complete this hand made work of art. Comes with or without the dangle of crystals and silver. It's wonderfully surprising how the blue in this glass matches denim! Believe it or not, this piece goes casual with denim or dressy with black or purple attire. The bead artist keeps a special supply of glass for me so this piece can be readily duplicated. Everyone can have a RockerJewlz signature bracelet!

Market Day
See her walking down a dry, sandy road, heading home with her bundle of goods gracefully balanced atop her head. She's laughing and talking with her friends as they walk along with the children in tow. The funny thing about this 4" tall bead is that her bundle really is tilting just a tiny bit, just like a real bundle balanced on your head would shift and move as you move. I wound the bundle around the top of her head like you might do a hollow bead. While I was warming her up, I warmed that connecting area just a bit more than I meant to, and the weight of the bundle shifted while the base was warm and flexible. I love when gravity adds a realistic touch to the glass!

Northstar Boro color reference
These beads where made using a twistie ( clear core, encased in color, striped with clear and pulled into a cane), the beads have one wrap of colored cane and three wraps of clear. They where not flamestruck but kilnstruck for 30 minutes at 1050 These are all northstar, and more pics will be added in the future. Please check out my GA color reference as well, you might find it to be helpful:) Suzanne
