Gimme good hex, would ya? The Pennsylvania Dutch aren't the only people throughout history to have used hex signs for protection from evil and to bring good fortune, but they are the ones we're likely to picture when someone mentions hex signs. There are characteristic colors and symbols used in these signs and marks. The color blue summons protection, peace, calmness, and spirituality, while the color green is associated with the sacred, intuition, and also spirituality. Funny, those are my two favorite colors, so I decided to make my hex inspired amulet filled with them-- transparent cobalt, dark turquoise stringer, and Nile green stringer. Oh, and the white spirit in the center? That is the moon, carrying a reminder that white stands for purity and the free flow of energy. Blessings to all, Ang
