Sandstorm
This is a slim, slightly tapered bicone focal. I used several colors of silvered reactive glass to get the movement behind the droplets of color. The droplets catch the light and seem to change color as you turn the bead in your hand. This focal measures 46mm x 8mm in size.

Symphony
This set of beads became a canvas for all the things I love about glass. I started with one of my favorite colors of Italian glass which is a soft muted lilac. I wanted these beads to have several layers of interest so I added some beautiful salmon colored dichroic glass which I heavily encased in cyrstal clear glass. The sparkle from the dichroic was dazzling but I wanted more so I added a thin layer of "Aurae" shards. "Aurae" shards have a rich metallic sheen. I tempered some of the shine with handpulled soft pink striped cane. There are 13 beads in this set. The nugget beads are 16mm x 6mm. The free form disks with "Aurae" edges are approximately 17-21mm x 2mm in size. The strand length is a little over 7 inches. Each bead was lovingly wound on 1/16 inch mandrel. Between the beads are champagne colored Swarovski crystals.

Colores
hese sprees were created from a base of vibrant lime green which I wrapped with silver foil. I added several layers of enamels and reduced those colors to create the depth and the multitude of colors that explode across each bead. I've included a long tube focal to compliment the set. The sprees are 18mm x 8mm in size. The focal tube bead is 42mm x 6mm.

Mint Liquor
These delectable little spree beads are made from a combination of transparent and opaque glasses. The opaque glass is a pale mint green with chocolate brown piping. The transparent glass color is what I like to call "champagne". There are six spree beads. They are 18mm x 8mm in size. They were loving wound on 1/16th mandrels.

Pahoehoe
The movement in this bead reminded me of objects getting caught in a lava flow. Pahoehoe is a Hawaiian word for a type of lava flow.
