Ghost Dance

A set of luminous aqua and violet hollows with DH Olympia Rain and Kronos.I tried so hard to photograph these, but the tracery design is so subtle, I couldn't capture their true beauty.

Shallow Waters

A set and two focals, made with lots of carnelian (my new favorite glass!), transparent purple, various frits, enamels and copper mesh inclusions between the layers... I selectively etched the copper green tentacles- what a challenge that was! but I think it was worth it :-) Thanks for looking! Meital :-)

Winged Isis Goddess Bead

Isis. I'd write more, except my brain is in smartass/funky gear today, and when I started writing about Isis in my blog I quickly ran off on a tangent about Wonder Woman!? Remember her? Now, I keep trying to remember what she said when she transformed. Didn't she say something about the powers of Isis? Told ya I was off on a tangent, huh? Anyway, this bead is a great one to hold, and I think it would make an awesome pendant. Catch ya later, I'm off to torch...or maybe a quick google of Isis and Wonder Woman. . .

"Ancient Man" Focal Bead

"Ancient Man" Focal Bead with a heavy etched and charred surface for an ancient lava rock texture, the larger measures 1 5/8" long by 7/8" across and was made on a 1/16" mandrel.

"Night Sky" Focal Bead, a black and dark transparent blue sky and white enamel with twists and swirls of silvered ivory over a base of light ivory, fire polished, measures from 1 7/16" tall by 1 1/8" across, made on a 1/16" mandrel with the hole running north and south.

Under the Sea Collection are made with Sra handmade lampwork beads from artist I buy from that I incorporate into art to wear designer jewelry. I use Fresh water pearls, boro lamp work beads and Balinese and Karen Hill Tribe sterling silver in my designs.
