I call all of these focals "Burst" for the clear raised leaves. They are comfortable to wear and the clear on top really makes the colors come alive.

I really enjoy making these large holed beads and wear 3 of them on a sterling silver ball chain as is. I like to hear them 'clank' together AND I can change them if I want to quickly! :) They also can be worn as rings, a bonus!

Eastern Influence

Asian inspired design is big influence in my work. It started with collecting fans at a young age, many of which were Japanese paper fans.

Bracelets with your lampwork beads ~

"gelly" Angéle makes beads too! Everyone was bidding on her awesome pigs, no one was bidding on her beads. This is what happened to your beads Angéle - I used this set for a tutorial, and I couldn't follow the directions, so I made up my own. The second set was used in a contest. I only used one of your beads in the second bracelet, when will I find the time to use the others? Thanks, Gelly...

New Self Emerging

It's coming. The self you're working toward is emerging, beating its butterfly wings into the new year, fluttering with anticipation. Oh, it won't be completely new, just like this butterfly isn't completely new, but it will be fresh and bright and inviting, just like this bright blue butterfly emerging from this goddess. This goddess is one for you and me, symbolically speaking. "Feet of clay", that symbol of mortality, is reflected in her particularly dusty-looking, etched lower body. . . also representing the old self, rugged and worn and beautiful in its own way. The clearness of the upper body, heart included, reflects the clearness of thought that finally leads you to your new self. . . emerging from your hopes and dreams and struggles, fleetingly landing with you. Happy New Year, Happy New Self. Hope 2007 brings you this much closer to the person you want to be.

BORO electroformed...

I started electroforming soft glass, because it was easier to etch. Now I've moved on to my native glass... BORO!
