Halloween Geisha 2007

I began creating limited edition holiday geisha for Halloween and Christmas last year. The Halloween geisha for 2006 was a candy corn geisha and this year it's a witch. Only 2 were made this year and this specific design will never be recreated.

Eve of Christianity Christmas Eve Madonna

Would it be too much of a stretch to call that very first Christmas Eve the "Eve of Christianity"? I have to wonder what was running through Mary's mind as they approached Bethlehem. Was she in awe of what was happening? Was she frightened? Was she uncertain about the future? Was she sad because she would watch everything from the cradle to the cross? Christmas Eve, a time to ponder and wonder, a time to pause and give a moment of reverence to the Virgin.
