Sparkly Malarky

There are four layers of glass inside this bead (beneath the detail work)giving it lots of depth and interest. It took a looooong time to make but I liked how it turned out. :)

Aurora

Inspired by the beautiful Aurora that so often happens during the polar nights. I was lucky enough to witness the wonderful phenomena while I lived in Alaska. These beads are a great representation of the undulating and pulsing colors that I've seen. 1-23-09

I made this bead with lots of silverglass ,copper mesh, raku, terra2, aventurine stringer and some lauscha clear.I have added sterling silver Bali end caps and silverplated wire to finish it off. Dimensions 45mmx20mm
