I love these!!! I have pulled some color canes and used raku and reduction colors.The effect on most of these is one of a kind since I didn't follow a recipee, I just mix what comes to me at the moment. I like the shapes, so far I try to stay away from mold shapes or standard shapes to give my beads a little character and to allow for designers to have acces to unique shapes.Some people think its a mistake or that I can't make a perfect bead, but if you look at my other work, you'll see that I can place dots perfectly and I can make a perfect shape...this irregularity is what I want at this moment. And believe me...I"M LOVING IT !!!!

This wonderful bead series that I'm so exited about is inspired by japanese kimono fabrics and antiques. The lattachino and stringers are hand mixed and pulled in very unique color combinations to create a woven textile like pattern similar to kasuri , ikat and hand dyed shibori fabrics used to create cotton kimonos in japan. Each of the beads in this series will come with a collector's picture card that includes name, number and that is signed as proof of authenticity. The cards are ACEO card size. They have all been wound on 1/16 of an inch mandrels unless otherwise stated using the highest quality Italian and German bead making glass and annealed in a digital controled kiln.
