I'm a beadmaker living in lovely British Columbia, Canada.

I work in many styles, and I love trying to work "outside the box", so often my work is a tad weird. That's life, I've gotta make what I've gotta make!

These beads are made using a technique that I'm still trying to perfect...challenging, but highly addictive!

Shipwrecks and Diptychs

I've been working on a series of beads called "Shipwrecks", large lentils with a solid body and a large "water" window filled with bits of silver and layers of pale glass.

I've also been working on a series of "diptych" beads, large beads with two windows of different styles creating a unified whole.

Totems and Sculpture

I've been inspired by the bead "totems" constructed by some talented bead artists, and I've been playing with the idea myself. This one is a work in progress!

I went to Italy in May of this year to take a class with Lucio Bubacco. I've been spending a lot of time working on the techniques that I learned, trying to take them in an abstract direction. This is an entirely new world of glass for me, and I'm loving it!
