This is a 1930's inspired beaded chandelier all completely made by hand. It took about 2 years to make and weighs about 10 pounds. There are 56 flowers and eight arms. Each flower is made anywhere from 7-11 petals and each petal is beaded with seed beads, sculpted, sewn, woven and/or strung together with wire or string. The frame was also constructed by hand as well.
I didn't use any template, I kind of made it up as I went along. The flowers are not modeled after any particular flower, I just choose colors and shapes that I thought were pretty. I don't know how many beads that were used, but I stopped counting after using 50 tubes of beads.
