Effetre/Vetrofond bead sets, 2006. I enjoy doing simple sets because of the medi tative, Zen-like process of their creation. All I have to do for them is let the glass flow and be itself, watch the colors interact, as I gently guide it along.
Medium amber with Aquarius Gold frit -- one of my favorite sets so far.

A little dreamy, light purple with ultraviolet frit
Intense blue with light pink -- just what a girl needs

Turquoise with all the colors of the desert remind me so much of the Southwest.
Or maybe not...I'm not a girly girl but I could see wearing these with jeans.
Just as the autumn flowers begin to blossom...
Still trying to overcome my press-impair...
Coral with turquoise -- this will wake you up!

I am a beadmaker, bookbinder, and textile artist living in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Art is my primary avocation, but teaching computer science at a community college pays the bills.
My free time is spent with my major passions, the Three Gs: Glass, Good Mews Animal Foundation (no-cage, no-kill cat shelter where I volunteer), and most important, Gary (my husband).
