This one reminds me of the English Tudor style house that is down the road from me. I drive by it often and it's one of my favorites in the neighborhood. . .

Well, this is SORT OF a bead. . .The cork and stand were made on big hole mandrels, while the bottle was blown with a blow pipe. Please, no LOL!! ;-) I have a long way to go, but this glass blowing thing is not only fun, but it's seriously addictive too!

Etching scares the crap out of me. . .But, I think in this case I am glad that I took a chance on it. These are so much softer in tone then they were before I etched and "soft" is what I had in mind for this set. I think these would be lovely for Spring.

Pink and tangerine petals on a base of pale emerald beneath heavy encasing glass. Little flowers and ribbons dance across the surface and provide a nice dimensional effect.
I love the juicy colors, but these beads were a nightmare to photograph.
