This category will include all of the wonderful critters that rise from the flames of my torch. Most will have names, some won't. The lucky ones will also have stories.

Food For Thought

Food For Thought

When on the South Beach diet and unable to eat those nasty greasy little treats or sink your teeth into a sweet and drippy chocolate covered icecream why not just make these little treats out of glass? No reason why not!

These are some samples I have made recently using my humungous frit collection. I can readily admit that I am a frit and glass addict. When it comes to addictions there are far worse things to be addicted to!

I became interested in lampworking in 2005. Did lots of research and armed myself with a large selection of books and DVDs and decided to learn how to play with my new torch.

I torch most days for about 3 hours or so. Given the time I would torch more but having 3 children of pre-school and school ages makes my torching time limited to evenings, nights & weekends. Obviously, I don't mind that.

Loving torching immensely. Loving making sculptured animals and dino beads. Take inspiration from our eldest son's fascination with Godzilla and his pals and his love of dinosaurs.
