Masks

The next in this mask series. Made on a base of ivory and silver, lots of enamels, and raku. He is 50mm in length. Why oh why do I always lose it on the backs...lol!

Here is my first in this series. This design is loosely based on Polynesian style masks. Steel blue base, violet , raku and black detail. He is 54mm long and roughly 22mm in diameter. Not perfect, but I like the design and will work on it.

This is a new mask design that I'm playing with. More of a relief on a 1 1/2" lentil shaped bead. I am happy with this first attempt but want to work on the eyes somemore. Eyes and mouths are the hardest for me.

My latest mask, he is also my biggest so far at 55mm tall, 32mm across and 25mm thick.

I wanted to do some female masks, similar to african Punu masks. This was my first attempt, I didn't really even get close, but I learned alot from this one so I hope the next is better.

This is Boo, I know he's sort of creepy but he was alot of fun to make. I wanted to try a skull bead in honor of Dia de los Muertos and here's what I ended up with :)
