I think this is my favorite of all time. She really stirs alot of emotions in me. I see a woman who has had a hard life, but still is able to hold herself up with grace and dignity. She bears the scares of life proudly.

This bead was made for a book which will be published shortly dealing with techniques for working pinks and purples.

I made this bead yesterday, which was a Monday and I was certainly feeling a bit blue and abused...my heart was hurting. This bead though also is the first in a subseries of beads I plan to make in honour of breast cancer survivors.

So, I revisited the Tiny Dancer shape yesterday and I am much happier with what I got this time. Violet base, various enamels, silver leaf and then reduced just a bit to add an iridecent shine.

This figure puts me in mind of a greek style statue, like what you might find hidden away in the shady corner of an overgrown and wild garden. I named her Chloris who is the greek goddess of flowers.

Testing a new Lauscha colour, well, it was new to me anyway. It is called Buckthorn. Reminds me of golden honey but it also gave some nice hints of soft rose

Glowing like beach glass she fades from beautiful pale emerald to a light aqua. I love to color combination in this one. Thanks Susie !

I love how this one turned out, so voluptuous and sexy! Ivory, silver, enamels. 50mm tall

This one is on a transparent base, which I find alot harder to sculpt with because in the flame the glass appears so clear that it is harder to see the definition. Also playing around with a new lighting setup
