My work has taken a decided turn in the past few months. I am doing alot more focals, the style is very ethnic and primative and I am doing alot of hand painting.

Crow Speaks
a 35mm lentil focal, part of a small set I did recently. The crow is hand painted using glass powders and then re-fired to set the paint.

Amulet of Joy
This little guy just tickles me everytime I look at him, hence the name. I have used copper leaf on the tube on his shoulders, he is 28mm long, 23mm wide and 15mm thick. Definitely inspired by William Morris, love his work!

Old Stoney
I'm not totally happy with this guy, I was going for a more jade look, but didn't manage it this time. All in all I like him though and will try it again.

River Rocks
a new idea I've been working on. These are part of my Talisman series. The holes make it possible to hang other objects, beads, charms, feathers, etc. From the main focal bead.

Susan's Medallion
Another from my Talisman series. This one is similar to the first but it has a less organic appearance and there is a single centered hole
