When I made this bead I hadn't thought of a specific part of Africa, in future I will try to be more precise. The mudcloth fabric and the detail on the pot were done with powdered glass paint, refired and then etched. She is 79mm x 30mm x 20mm.

Well, I ended up keeping the first WAter Bearer bead for myself, so I made another one which is pretty similar but with a different mud cloth pattern and water jar. She is also a bit stockier.

I gotta admit that this has been the most challenging series of beads I've ever done, With this one, I tried to get a bit smaller, I love the large ones but they are really too much for my torch. Also playing with different backgrounds.

Still exploring various backgrounds and painting techniques. This one has a fantastic ston-washed quality that I really love.
