Ocean Inspired beads from Jan. "06"

Here are a few more Ocean Inspired beads that I have created recently. I first started making these beads because I moved to Nevada and missed the ocean, now I am hooked. It took a long time for me to figure out how to make these but the outcome is well worth the effort to me. :o)

Contact Artist

I have been working with glass for about a whole year now and have never worked with such a exciting medium. The colors of borosilicate glass and their reactions together continue to fascinate me. I can never have a bad day when I "play" in my studio!

Aside from making pieces out of glass, I also enjoy any other medium in art that I can get my hands on! Both of my parents are lost wax jewelers, and my dad has a lapidary and casting shop on the other side of town. I grew up in CA, with my parents doing art shows, which is where I first saw glass being blown.
