While looking for a new creative challenge as a costume designer, I discovered bead making by accident. I instantly found the colorful melting of glass so fascinating that I almost forgot about my love for textile. Inspired by my surroundings, I combine my ideas into the most unexpected creations. My style is self-willed, colorful and humoristic. This is not only found in my beads but also in my paintings and my costume designs. Mary Demmers, MaDe in Holland.
