Hello and welcome to my gallery pages! While I started out with the intent to make round beads... I found that I really loved doing sculptural work the best. Chickens are my favorites! I have several chicken pets as my "chicken-spirations", as well as fish, cats, dogs, and geese to keep me busy when I am not at the torch.

Beads for a Cure - Sept 2008

Beads for a Cure - Sept 2008

I recently reunited with one of the best friends of my life. She had just finished surgery and chemo for breast cancer. What was this? I didn't know what to say. She introduced me to "cancer" up close and personal.

I wanted to help, so I created exclusive beads for our Race for a Cure team. I have always steered clear of using pink glass, now I I have many shades of pink! :)

We made a web site:
http://www.FemmeFus.... made a video of our story, and we are a Top 10 finalist in the LiveStrong video challenge! (Please see details on our site.)

It has been quite a journey...! An amazingly wonderful journey.

This gallery contains the "Femme Fus Exclusive" beads. These beads are/were only available via donation to Komen Race for the Cure.

Bone Bead Gallery - June 2007

Bone Bead Gallery - June 2007

I started making bones in the fall of 2003 as part of Halloween sets. Then the "dog people" began asking for bones, so the Halloween bones morphed into dog bones.

New Betta Bead - Spring 2007

I love betta fish. I haven't made a betta bead in some time, so I thought it was time. This one turned out approximately 3x larger then my earlier ones...!

Chicken Beads

Chicken Beads

Glass chicken beads - great as pendants or as mini suncatchers. I love chickens -- glass ones and real ones! I have a small mixed breed flock of chickens who are always inspiring. :)
