This set was fun, I was just messing with silver leaf and different colors. Transparent red, Ochre and Yellow Ochre, Dense black, Avocado. So I put those on some beads of Avocado with a bit of copper green which looks totally turquoise, even IRL.

This focal reminds me of a bonsai off the side of a cliff. This was the first time I used Tink Dust and it was really a neat effect. I was just playing and this is the result.

This set was made a little here and there. Each time I sat at the torch with no set goal I would make one of these, just playing, just fun. I love all the colors and of course I had to make spacers to match!

I have made quite a few of these already. My first one was a request from my Brother in Law. I had told him a bit about flameworking and he asked if I could make him a cross. I've since made him 2. I've made several for family members and friends. This first one was a suggestion from my neighbor, she brought me over a gold cross and asked if I could duplicate the design. It came out pretty close. Guess I need to get pictures of the rest of them.

SO I have all these shards that I blew a while back and never used. Seems every where you look everyone is using them so I figured I'd give it a try. A base of Avocado with silver leaf and then the shards. Not quite my style....guess I'll have to try a bit more my style next.

Ok, So I thought it would be fun to try and make some rings. Having never done it before I figured It would be pretty easy and it is. I started out simple and have been trying different things. Even more not pictured yet, but heres what I have for now. They are made with Soft glass (moretti)

Ok, I dont' remember where I saw the fire and Ice bead, probably on LE. And I dont' remember who made it, shame on me!! Here is my take on it. The flames are different and probably not made the same, I've never taken any classes so I have to figure things out myself but I enjoy that part and discover new things along the way. My thank you to the origional artist who came up with this!!

This is my first kitty. My daughter asked me to make her a dog like her own. Her dog is a very sleek looking chihuahua so I figured if I could make a cat I could get it to look close enough.....not this color tho! Figured I'd practice first! He looks a bit like a siamesse cat other than the pink nose. (got to remember not to heat the nose so much!)

Here are a few more fish. These guys are pretty small and are flat. Tied on a bit of fishing string like I just caught them! I have been thinking of etching them. Not sure, will have to think about it. I like this style tho, I think I'll try some more!

This little guy is SO cute! He started out to be a fish but for some reason he didn't want to be a fish, maybe he's afraid of water! SO, he is a little critter, I'm thinking hedgehog perhaps? Either way, he is adorable!

Wow, I just love flowers and this is the best so far that I've done in the raised flower area. I dont' do them too much, guess if I practiced more it would get easier. There are just SO many things to try and learn.

I love this color, transparent red. Unfortunately I bought very little of it. I love the way the silver reacts to it.

This is the first blown vessel I've been happy with. Turquoise and SIS, keeping it simple. Now, should I etch it? hmmmmmm

Playing again! I thought a big hole bead longer that I usually make would be different. This one is made on a 1/4 inch mandrel and is 35mm long. I used my favorite ASK Desert Chameleon with some Avocado, DH Gaia, and a bit of frit, tobacco I believe. I thought of keeping it but decided to list it on Justbeads, maybe I'll have to make something similar for myself? probably!

I dont like to name my sets, I'm not good with names and I keep thinking "what if I give the bead the wrong name?" I love this little set of 2, especially the smaller bead. I used all my usual colors: what ever is in reach!

I make all of my glass beads in my tiny studio in Sunny Florida. I've been flameworking for just over a year now and enjoy every moment of it.
My favorite beads are loaded with color and sometimes raised designs. I love the way they feel in my hands and all the colors really make me happy!! See something in here you like? Go ahead and email me because alot of times I still have them. I'm not really quick about listing/selling things, I'm not too computer savy! LOL So, go ahead and email me if you see something you like ok! Sue aka glassymom
