DTL Designs by Diane E Poland (formerly of Gwenyn Designs) is now undergoing a new phase in life - hence the name change. I no longer carry products made by manufacturers. I acquire beads from individual artisans of lampworking, or make my own and enhance the bead-artwork using many different metal wire wrapping techniques, findings, spacers, semi-precious stones and Zwarovski crystals. I never know where the designs will lead, I just follow my creative muse, the feel of the materials along with the mood they create. I have some very unique pieces and hope you enjoy viewing them. Silvered Silhouette is a very special horse totem that formed itself on the mandrel. She knew what she wanted to be and after the silver leaf was added to turquoise, clear, ivory and dark ivory the totem appeared! |

This necklace design developed primarily because of the unique size and style of the bead by Sarah Hornik. I consider it an honor to work with Sarah's beads. I love the feel of her beads and the colors she uses. Sarah is one of my favorite lampwork artists. |
