These beads are lampworked, annealed and then cold-worked with a lapidary grinder (flat lapped) for a faceted look. I like to work my transparents down to a shiny glass finish so that the tiny imperfections of the glass show and become part of the natural design. I leave my opaques a little rougher for a more organic look. Fine silver in either foil or wire form play a major part in my beads.
