Several years ago one friend, Karen Kress, introduced me to beading and another friend, Ceil Zappa, a lampwork artist, introduced me to flameworking. They catalyzed a latent but inherited love of design, color and art which has emerged as Flying Pig Creations (because I doubted it could get off the ground) a design studio whose center is artisan jewelry but often spirals off into other artistic or artisanal endeavors. Here is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the jewelry with a group of inspired artists.

This lovely set of bifurcated beads screamed, "Make me pretty, jazzy, and frilly!" so I decided on a cha-cha bracelet with lots of glitz. The matching earrings are dangles with the main big beads and black rose crystals that show case the netting in the big beads.

Flameworked beads are my favorite beading medium...an endless inspiration.
