A re-make of an ancient sculpture in glass. She is 2" tall. Insired by the oldest Mother Goddess found many many years ago. She is made with ivory, resembling the limestone of the origional. She is covered with red enamel sifted over her body, symbolizing the red paint that is wore off, on the origional. She is polished with a shine, which represents (to me) the "new" art medium; Glass. After all these years we still appreciate her. She is on Ebay starting March 9.
Her large breasts and stomach suggest she was a fertility Goddess.

Inspired by that Venus of Willendorf sculpture...I remember carrying my children. I used the ivory glass with sifted enamel to remind us of the "glow"... Peace.

Thank you for Visiting my gallery!
I am very excited to show my work here. If not for websites, I would have been a closet Artist forever.
Art is a passion to many people, and I am one of them. I am so flattered to be at a site with so many talented people.
Thank you! And, God bless.
