The hippie chick!

The hippie chick!

Posted by SheilaMorley on 2/28/2007
Being a hippie...It has a fun "style". I really want to try out tye dyes with glass. We'll see. I made some dot beads that looked really cool. I thought, that looks kinda like a tye dye! So, why not? Then it became more about NOT burnnig the skin or the shirt. Building up or reducing...And, using my murrini. I see what Loren Stump was saying..."Before you know it murrinies were everywhere!"
(Don't worry Loren. She is crack free and introduced two times! And! No wafting! ;))
Peace!

Another hippie chick with a pendant!

Another hippie chick with a pendant!

Inspired by a hippie from California...I created this wearable pendant. My good friend and sister-in-law, Vicky Lynn Morley made this pendant with some sterling silver and Chrystal and, my hippie chick bead.
Enjoy!

Hippie with a heart

Hippie with a heart

The hippie is a difficult form to sculpt (for me). Most end up with a crack in the head? This one came out nice. On e bay this week of June. Enjoy! Peace murrini and a sculpted heart emphasize Peace and Love...
such a good idea.

The hippie chick has "her sister"...

The hippie chick has "her sister"...

Yes! She looks just like her sister. Michele caught me in the middle of my inspiration and bought her before she was really even for sale! What an honor. When a customer asks for something we are in the middle of!
...I am very thankful for the support.
