Victorian Roses & More

Something I've been playing with since I'm back on the torch and just can't seem to get away from right now... the florals - particularly the Victorian style floral beads.

I have been making lampwork beads since the winter of 1998/1999. This has not only been a hobby to me, but has become my business as well. I love creating Victoriana style beads, particularly those with roses - but as you will see, my bead styles are quite diversified.

All of my beads are made one at a time in my NC studio. I make sure my beads will become a treasured heirloom by digitally kiln annealling each bead to ensure their durability. The holes of my beads are carefully cleaned and the beads are ready to use.

I also like to create jewelry items such as those shown within my gallery. The beads used within my jewelry designs are also one of a kind, handmade by me in my studio. I try to incorporate natural gemstones, genuine pearls and sparkling swarovski in my designs. I use sterling silver, fine silver, 14k gold and 14k gold filled metals. On occasion, I may use brass or copper as well and my description will state which metal is used.

I consider my beads as small treasures of glass art, and I thank you for looking.
