I used a faux-boro background in this set, which turned out really nice! Hard to photograph, though. :) On Ebay ending March 12 07.

A close-up of the main bead. You can see the layers of red and orange I used on the main flower. I used a purple transparent on top of the red, which gave it a deep, muted look. Massive, shiny bubbles on this one!

Some mini-flowers on fritted faux-boro that matches the mini-flowers on the main Stargazer focal. I like the look of the periwinkle over black, capped with ink blue - the black adds a lot of depth and drama!

This double-layered floral has a base of gold leaf over melted-in silver leaf on black. The silver base reacted with the gold to make it paler and more champagne-co... with lots of sparkle!

A set with a silvered and fritted cobalt base. I like the way this photo turned out! On ebay until Feb 27, which happens to be my birthday!

I'm loving the melted and flash-reduced encased silver base on this set. (Oh, and I'm starting to make SETS now! Very focal-based sets, but still!) In my nerdy brain, these evoke firey flowers blooming on hot, fresh-fallen space rock...

My new favorite floral! It has incredible depth and clarity and I'm really happy with how the gold leaf turned out. It's so much nicer in person than I was able to capture with my feeble photography skills. Sold on Ebay!

I call this one "Spinning" because the bead release broke and I had to do the my best to shape it while it spun and slid around. It's definitely got a more "organic" shape than usual, but it works! The base is silver leaf on black with a b&w twistie vine.

Believe it or not, i almost never work on small florals! Developing this set was a great learning curve for me - it uses really different approaches! Pink is always tricky because it's so soft and blurry.

Another chapter in my love affair with red florals!
