Hi! G'day! Mabuhay! My name is Rifie (aka Marife Hogan). I'm originally from the beautiful islands of the Phillipines and a Sydneysider since 1987. I'm passionate about hotglass and I've been lampworking since November 2005.
I'm a member of the SRA-ANZ (self-representing artist in Australia and New Zealand) as well as the SRA (self-representing artist. I favour italian and american soda glass but having said so, I do not mix them together due to compatibility reasons :)
I'm self-taught in sculptural work using hot glass as the medium; and this past month I have been developing original designs.
Handblown beads simply describe majority of my kritterz this include frogs (norm and alien kind lol), dogs and elephants.
I do hope that I bring you joy, luck and peace with my handcrafted beads. I do welcome constructive criticisms. Cheers!
