More of my focal transparent water beads - the other page was getting a little full, so I started a new one.

Artisan

This is simply a little of everything (except palladium) - I couldn't make up my mind, so I used a little of all!!!

Champagne

Champagne

Vacation made me feel like playing with lighter colours and some swirls and dots... and a press that always seems to get the better of me.

Cleopatra

Cleopatra

I got a new press and was playing.... I don't usually play well with purple, but I think I like this.

Paleta de Limon

Paleta de Limon

This is a 51mm x 24mm crunch focal that I was experimenting with using a blended frit instead of a solid colour frit on.... I think it turned out very fiesta!!

Serenity

Serenity

I thought that I'd finally pull the proverbial head out of the proverbial.... and play with some new techniques. Like pulling cane - I've never done it before, so I tried a wispy white and clear to play in my water beads, and switched out the silver foil for mesh to see what would happen. What do you think???

Strawberry Ice

Strawberry Ice

This is also a press-blend. An XL lentil top with an XL tab base, allowing the focal to rest more comfortably against the skin. (Chuckling) The bead is also a rebellion against all of the COLD fog around here - I neede to play with something pretty!!!!

Vortex

Vortex

Another crunch bead - plain and smooth. I'm not sure if I like the way the silver foil turned out this time - maybe I'll try it again with tears instead of cuts...

Iron Mountain Jewelry is a one person glass studio in sunny (sweltering) Bulverde, TX, in the hillcountry just north of San Antonio. I'm a self-taught lampworker who works full-time in an Interventional Radiology Lab and only get to play with hot, moulten glass when I've been good. Or when I can run fast enough to get away from my department. I've been playing with glass now for about 20 months, but if you add up the actual time, it's more like 8 or 9. I WANT SOME MORE!!!!!!
