After making the knobs for Ivy's room, my friend Rhonda decided that she wanted to keep going and asked me to make cabinet knobs for her husband's bathroom...

This is a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants set of knobs that I made for my friend Rhonda. When her daughter Ivy went away to college Rhonda decided to redo Ivy's bathroom. All of the appliances were 50's green, and the walls ans cabinets were white, so she wanted bright knobs to accent the sink, etc. I had to make a mould large enough - these knobs are 1.25" in diameter and are made from bullseye tree frog layered over spring green.

Iron Mountain Jewelry is a one person glass studio in sunny (sweltering) Bulverde, TX, in the hillcountry just north of San Antonio. I'm a self-taught lampworker who works full-time in an Interventional Radiology Lab and only get to play with hot, moulten glass when I've been good. Or when I can run fast enough to get away from my department. I've been playing with glass now for about 20 months, but if you add up the actual time, it's more like 8 or 9. I WANT SOME MORE!!!!!!
