Hello all! I'm Shannon, and I've been making lampwork beads for close to 4 years now. I've loved it since I started, and I'm still ead over heels for the ancient art. I use mostly Moretti glass, but occaisionally I'll use Caliente cane glass because I love its streaky qualities. Most of my work features bright, bold colors, use of frit, and plenty of boogying starfish.

Dancing Starfish

This is one of my favorite signature beads - the Dancing Starfish!

I love my little starfishes....and I hope that you enjoy them too! They cane be quiet satrfishes, or sassy starfishes, but the one quality they have in common? They all love to get down and boogy on the dance floor!

Lumpies!

I call these beads 'Lumpies' with great affection. These beads have a wonderful tactile-ness from the soft, bright 'lumps' on the face of the bead. When worn as a pendant, you won'tbe able to keep your hands off them!

My First Glass Ring

These are some pics of the first (but not the last) glass ring I've made. I used a light pink base and added shimmering yellow and blue sparkling frit for fun. It's about a 7.5 in size (it fits on my freakishly thin thumbs) and I have flattened the sides to fit more comfortably on the finger, while counter-weighting the bottom so it won't spin around the finger. Can you tell I work in a jewellery store?
