These are also masks but my focus is a bit different. I am going for a more realistic feel to the facial detail. Almost like a 3D portrait. They are not as flamboyantly detailed as my other mask style, the facial expressions and fine detail are meant to do most of the work in these pieces.

Ivory and silver leaf. Her headdress is iris orange and amber. she is 50mm tall.

She has a very african feel and I wanted to give her jewelry which was not simply dots. I used a tungsten to poke holes in her ears and on an anchor at the back of her neck so that earrings and necklace could be worn

I think he's got sort of a Bucchus feel to him. Unfortunately the bead release gave out when I was only half way through so I had to stop working and he got a bit wonky. Tea-stained ivory glass. 45mm tall
|

Great Details!
Teresa, she is wonderfully detailed! The nostrils flaring from the center of the nose, the lines connecting the nose and the points of the lips, the lips themselves. . .WOW! Angie
