~*Andromeda*~

~*Andromeda*~

The Sentinels, guarding over their worlds, galaxies, even dimensions, see all.
Each one carries the essence of what they protect, captured within the spheres that make up their visage.
The Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy may possibly collide in 4.5 billion years.
Perhaps this Sentinel will help provide an alternate ending.

Atlantis, or Ynis Wydr (the Isle of Glass) submerged deep under the South China Sea.
Watching, waiting and protecting until the time when the sea drops to reveal what lies beneath... one of the oldest civilizations.

Sentinel

Sentinel

This one doesn't have a name.
The orb on the chest looks like there's a large, snow capped mountain inside with a shooting star or maybe northern lights behind it.
The orb on the face looks like a nebula with some pure silver added for shine.
The bottom reminds me of the oil spill going on right now in the Gulf. This was made before then but after seeing the news, that's what I see everytime I look at this one.

Tracy Jerrell Akhtar
I began Lampwork late May of 2005. Something sparked inside of me when I began melting glass and I just took off from there. My mother showed me how to light the torch, melt the glass and wrap it on the mandrel. Other than that I'm self-taught from books and lots of PPP. Up until June 2008 all my work was created on a HotHead torch. Now I'm using a GTT Lynx and LOVE IT!
My work is available on my website, Tracybeads.com and also on Ebay under the id azcowboygirl.
