This group of beads are a re-visit to an technique I did back in 2005-2006 (with the exception of 2 of them which are actually from the period I am revisiting). Although Roses are a part of everyday life, and can be used within any style of bead and/or jewelry design, the Rose was widely used in many appli cations during the Victorian era. Therefore, the rose is a very important part of my designs. The rose, to me, is very feminine and romantic - it is absolutely perfect for my Victorian designs. Please visit my site for info on the pdf tutorial for making and using the rose murrini.

I have been making lampwork beads for approx 10 years now. This has not only been a hobby to me, but has become my business as well. I love creating Victoriana style beads, particularly those with roses - but as you will see, my bead styles are quite diversified.
All of my beads are made one at a time in my NC studio. I make sure my beads will become a treasured heirloom by digitally kiln annealling each bead to ensure their durability. The holes of my beads are carefully cleaned and the beads are ready to use.
I also like to create jewelry items such as those shown within my gallery. The beads used within my jewelry designs are also one of a kind, handmade by me in my studio. I try to incorporate natural gemstones, genuine pearls and sparkling swarovski in my designs. I use sterling silver, fine silver, 14k gold and 14k gold filled metals. On occasion, I may use brass or copper as well and my description will state which metal is used.
I consider my beads as small treasures of glass art, and I thank you for looking.
